Data Deletion Request

At Comanajer, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request deletion of your data and what happens when you do.

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your Comanajer account and associated data by:

1. Email Request: Send an email to support@comanajer.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
2. Contact Form: Use our contact form and select "Account Issue" as the subject

Please include the email address associated with your Comanajer account in your request so we can locate and delete your data.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request data deletion, we will permanently remove the following information:

• User Profile: Your email address, display name, and profile photo
• GitHub Connection: Your GitHub access token and linked GitHub profile information
• Notification Preferences: Your push and email notification settings
• Repository Selection: Your list of selected repositories
• Summaries: All daily, weekly, and monthly summaries generated for your account
• Activity Data: Repository activity data associated with your account
• Device Tokens: Your Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens for push notifications

What Data May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained for limited purposes even after deletion:

• Anonymized Analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage data that cannot be linked back to you
• Legal Requirements: Data required to be retained by law, such as transaction records for tax purposes
• Support Records: Records of support communications may be retained for quality assurance purposes, with personal identifiers removed

Timeline for Deletion

We process data deletion requests as follows:

• Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days
• Verification: We may contact you to verify your identity
• Deletion: Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of verification
• Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete

Before You Request Deletion

Please note that data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Before requesting deletion:

• Export any summaries or data you wish to keep
• Cancel any active subscriptions through the App Store or Google Play
• Consider that you will lose access to all historical summaries

Revoking GitHub Access

In addition to requesting data deletion from Comanajer, you may also want to revoke Comanajer's access to your GitHub account:

1. Go to GitHub Settings → Applications
2. Find "Comanajer" in the list of authorized applications
3. Click "Revoke" to remove access
