When you create an account and use Comanajer, we collect:

  • Account Information: Your email address, display name, and profile photo (if provided)
  • GitHub Account Information: When you authenticate with GitHub, we access your GitHub user ID, username, email, avatar URL, bio, company, blog, and location
  • Notification Preferences: Your chosen settings for push notifications and email notifications, including preferred notification times
  • Repository Selection: The GitHub repositories you choose to monitor

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Service, we automatically collect:

  • Device Information: Your device's Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for push notifications
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the app, including feature usage and session data
  • Repository Activity: Pull requests, issues, and commits from your selected GitHub repositories (accessed via GitHub API)

1.3 Information from Third Parties

We receive information from the following third-party services:

  • GitHub: Repository data, pull requests, issues, and commit information for your selected repositories
  • Firebase Authentication: Your authentication credentials and session data

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide the Service: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly summaries of your engineering team's activity
  • Send Notifications: Deliver push notifications and email summaries based on your preferences
  • Improve the Service: Analyze usage patterns to enhance functionality and user experience
  • Communicate with You: Respond to your inquiries, provide customer support, and send service-related announcements
  • Ensure Security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents

3. AI-Generated Summaries

Comanajer uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI) to generate summaries of your engineering activity. When generating summaries:

  • We send repository activity data (pull requests, issues, commits) to OpenAI's API
  • This data is processed to create human-readable summaries
  • OpenAI's data processing is subject to their Privacy Policy
  • We do not use your data to train AI models

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using the following services:

  • Firebase Firestore: User profiles, preferences, and generated summaries are stored in Google's Firebase Firestore database
  • Firebase Authentication: Authentication credentials are securely managed by Firebase
  • GitHub OAuth Token: Your GitHub access token is securely stored to access repository data on your behalf

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Service Providers: Third-party services that help us operate the Service (Firebase, OpenAI, Google Cloud)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or legal process
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
  • With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share your information

6. Third-Party Services

Comanajer integrates with the following third-party services:

  • GitHub: For authentication and repository data access
  • Firebase (Google): For authentication, data storage, cloud messaging, and analytics
  • OpenAI: For generating AI-powered summaries
  • Google Cloud Platform: For hosting and scheduled tasks
  • RevenueCat: For subscription management (if applicable)

Each of these services has their own privacy policies that govern their collection and use of your information.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. Summary data is retained to provide historical insights into your engineering activity.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal information

  • Opt-out: Disable push notifications or email summaries in the app settings
  • Revoke Access: Disconnect your GitHub account at any time

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where our service providers are located. These countries may have different data protection laws than your country.
